Each year, about 1,500 students participate in Summer Session for a variety of reasons. Some enroll in courses to help reach their second major, or minor, or certificate. Some see it as a great opportunity to focus on more difficult courses or foreign language classes. Others want to get some courses out of the way so they can study abroad later. And still others use Summer Session to take courses they have difficulty getting in to during the regular academic year.
