Academic Enrichment

Duke Youth Academy: The Duke Youth Academy for Christian Formation seeks rising high school juniors and seniors of all Christian traditions to spend two weeks on campus exploring Christian formation and discipleship.

Duke Lemur Center: The Duke Lemur Center offers unique summer camp experiences to animal lovers in grades 1-8. In addition to plenty of lemur time, campers learn through hands-on lessons about animal care, research, fossils, and more!

The American Dance Festival: Individuals who do not desire academic credit may enroll in either three-week or six-week dance classes and workshops for personal enrichment. Rising high school seniors have the option of applying for academic credit in the six-week ADF School.

Duke Research in Engineering Program (DukeREP): DukeREP is a 7-week summer research program that matches high school students from Durham Public Schools with labs in the Pratt School of Engineering at Duke University.

Talent Identification Program (TIP): During the summer months TIP sponsors a variety of international and domestic programs for academically gifted middle and high school students.
